Transformers Optimus Prime

Transformers Optimus Prime is the sole leader of the Autobot clan. Towering at 32 feet in fully-transformed mode, Optimus greeted Sam Witwicky to mission on Earth.

After arriving and scanning a Peterbilt truck, Optimus greeted Sam Witwicky and Mikaela Banes, introducing his men and explaining why they had come to Earth.

A Peterbilt Model-379 truck was used in the making of the Optimus Prime. 379 is equipped with a 6-cylinder turbo-diesel power plant churns out 380 bhp to 500 bhp with 1,450 to 1,850 lb-ft and boast 4 to 9 miles per gallon. 

 The TOMICA's replica of the Optimus Prime has a red coated paint with chrome facial finishes on the gloss black rear deck. 

We cannot wait for the 4th installment of the Transformer.

Transformers BumbleBee

Bumblebee, a member of the Autobots Transformers film trilogy. A Chevrolet Camaro was used in the Michael Bay special of Transformers. In the movie, bumblebee stands at 17.5 feet tall.

The Camaro is manufactured by General Motors (GM). There are 5 variants, the LS, 1LT, 2LT, 1SS and 2SS. What  differentiates the LS, LT and SS are the engine specifications. The LS and LT comes equipped with 3.6L V6 which produces 312 bhp at 6,400 rpm with a torque of 273 lbf-ft at 5,200 rpm. However the SS variant comes standard with a 6.2L powerplant V8 that generates 426 bhp at 5,900 rpm and a torque of 420 lbf-ft at 4,200 rpm.

GM Camaro features a fully independent four-wheel suspension system with variable-rate power steering, Brembo 4 piston (pot)  calipers on the SS, electronic stability and traction system and launch control for the SS.

The SS comes with High Intensity Discharge (HID) lamps with halo rings (similar to the cat eye) and a rear spoiler.

TOMICA's replica of the Transformer BumbleBee has a bright painted yellow, with unique black high-gloss black center rally stripe going around the car.

Tomica Batman Mobile: The Tumbler

The Tumbler

Christopher Nolan trilogy's The Tumbler, sequel to Batman Returns, is a vehicle without a front axle. It is a hybrid between a tank, and a Lamborghini. 

This is a prototype vehicle with armour that is tough enough to plough through concrete walls and "squashing" on-coming vehicles.

The Tumbler is equipped with a Batpod, which is a motorcycle built-into the Tumbler, that can be used when ejected from the Tumbler.

Measuring at 15 feet 2 in in length, 9 feet 2 in in width and 4 feet 11 in in height with a wheelbase of 9 feet 4, it weighs 2.5 tons.

Powered by a Jet burner located at the rear with vector control, and a 5.7l GM V8 capable of an output of 500 hp, that launches the Tumbler from 0 to 60 in 5.6 secs.

The front wheels are axel-less with bolted arms design and a conventional single axel rear end.

The Tomica replica is painted in flat-Matt black, with silver hub painted. The rear Jet exhaust tip is painted with bronze colour.

Gotham Knight, featured in both Batman and Batman Returns, this unique "one-of-a-kind" design that houses a jet turbine in the front was created on a Chevy Impala chassis. 

Measuring in 260.7 by length, 94.4 by width and 51.2 in height with a wheelbase of 141.0 inc, this batmobile has an acceleration speed from 0 to 60 in 3.7 secs (2013 Audi R8 V10 territory).

Powered by a jet turbine that feeds on only 97 high octane gasoline that churns out a mind-blowing 1750 lbf.ft of torque (enough to fry a beef steak).

It features an host of weaponry like grappling hook, that enables the batmobile to perform a quick 180 deg flick action, 2 x Browning machine guns under the fenders, batdisc ejector, shinbreakers, smoke emitters, etc.

The batmobile comes with normal amenities like an air-conditioning unit, CD player, etc. The body of the batmobile comprises of ceramic fractal armour panels, bullet-proof, fire-proof and theft-proof built features.

On the actual TOMICA replica of the Gotham Knight's batmobile, it is painted in flat-Matt black colour with the wheel hubs painted in silver lining. The TOMICA build quality is not as good as expected, but it sure makes imaginary playing fun.

This unique Cadillac Escalade  limousine is capable of sitting 20 pax and is no shortage of leg room or amenities (like mini bar to hold the ice cold Moët & Chandon Champagnes or entertainment system or gaming console, like the X-box 360 or Sony Playstation 4, etc).

In the scale (1:79) model for Tomica,  the Cadillac limousine is painted in pearl white with glossy finish.

The rears doors opened up and the windows are complete tinted in dark paint.

Toyota Mega Cruiser, release into the market in 1995 was first largest 4WD (Wheel-Drive) built by Toyota. Sporting a rugged and heavy duty looks (similar to the Hummer), the motive of this 4x4 vehicle was solely built for military usage. 

Soon Toyota release a version that was readily available to the public, named as BXD20, similar to the Toyota Land Cruiser. However, it was no before long that Toyota found that the BXD20 model was not as popular as it was intended. 

The specification for the Toyota Mega Cruiser, spots a 4.1 litres turbodiesel with a power rating of 150 bhps and 280 lbs-ft torque at a low 1800 rpm, mated with a 4 speed automatic transmission powering a full-time 4x4 mode with on run flat tires.

The latest tomica collection 2012 to emerge from  Tomy Tomica is the Lexus IS-F CCS-R. This tomica toy is the latest incarnation inspired by the LEXUS LFA, codename LEXUS IS-F CCS-R (Circuit Club Sports Concept). Tomica Japan has done a create job in creating a miniature 1:66 replica of LEXUS brand racing car CCS-R.

The real deal is powered by a 5.0 liters V8 engine with 416 horsepower at 6600 rpm and  371 lb.-ft torque at 5200 rpm. With a rear wheel biased coupled with a 8-speed Sport Direct Shift Automatic via the paddle shifters or manual stick shift.
